Why did we choose MickeysPad?
We had been considering buying a villa for 4-5 years. Our children came along and delayed the plans a little, but we seriously started to look again in 2004. The very first thing we did was contact many realtors based in both the UK and Florida. The plethora of choice is a little bewildering and the number of properties equally considerable.
We had stayed in many different properties over the years and many different house styles with varying facilities. From that experience we started to create a wish list. This included:

Location - Near Disney, Universal, Golf Courses and Restaurants

Privacy

A Large Pool (asked for by Daniel) and a Spa (asked for by Deborah)

Extra's, including a games room, child friendly and lots of crockery

Not on a building site
We then went to our friends and various website forums to see if we had missed anything. We had very similar responses but they also included :

Lots of bathrooms / two master suites

A downstairs WC

Two separate living spaces

Big screen TV and DVD and PS2
With all that in mind we set about looking for 'Our Dream Villa'. We looked at over 30 houses having received details of hundreds. We considered new builds, re-sales, 3 bed, 4 bed, 5 bed, condos and town houses. Our experience of renting a new build property and being woken by builders at 7.00am put us off
that idea. The sand in the pool wasn't too pleasant either.
We eventually opted for our villa at Tuscan Ridge, now MickeysPad. It satisfied most of the criteria and the ones it didn't we knew we could appease by improving the already excellent facilities. MickeysPad has space, in our opinion it's the ideal location, the privacy around the pool is excellent, it has two master suites, three and a half bathrooms and I haven't personally seen a better quality games room. It has an excellent family room and all the TVs, DVD,s and stereos you need.
